A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles left two people dead, Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

According to AugustaChronicle.com, "[t]he Richmond County Coroner’s Office is investigating a double fatality that happened Tuesday on the 1800 block of Highland Avenue."  Per the report, a Honda Civic crossed the center lane and struck a southbound vehicle head on. Cassandra Roselli was the sole occupant of a Hyundai Alantra traveling southbound.  According to the news story, "Both drivers were taken to AU Medical Center by EMS where they later died."
