An accident involving a vehicle injured a pedestrian early Sunday morning, July 14, 2019. As reported by Fox5Atlanta.com, "Chelzie Parmer was crossing the street at Peachtree Road at East Shadowlawn Avenue early Sunday" along with her friend. According to the report, "the two were using a crosswalk when the light changed and a vehicle sped through the intersection, striking Palmer." According to WSBtv.com, "Chelzie Parmer is still in the ICU at Grady Hospital with three fractures to her skull and other injuries." Police have watched surveillance video and saw a Dodge Charger speeding away from the scene, and the car has damage to the passenger side window, according to the report.
