Joseph Finan Killed in Baldwin County Ga. Route 29 Car Accident; Justice Available to Family?

A motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles claimed the life of one person and left another injured Sunday night, June 16, 2019.  According to UnionRecorder.com, "[t]he wreck, described as a head-on collision, happened shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday on Ga. Route 29, or the U.S. 441 Highway bypass, near the intersection of Ga. Route 49."  Per the report, "[t]he person killed was identified as Joseph Finan, of Tampa, Fla....[Mr.] Finan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 12:05 a.m. Monday."  According to 13WMAZ.com, a driver in a Toyota 4-Runner was driving south in the northbound lane of the highway and Joseph Finan was going north in his 2015 Ford F150 when the Toyota hit Joseph Finan head-on.

Media reports indicate that the driver of the Toyota 4-Runner was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
