A motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles left two children dead and several others injured late Wednesday night, June 19, 2019.
According to AJC.com, "[t]he crash occurred on Steve Reynolds Boulevard near Windward Lane around 10 p.m." 11Alive.com is reporting, "a preliminary investigation indicates that [a vehicle] crossed into oncoming traffic on Steve Reynolds Boulevard in unincorporated Norcross, striking 38-year-old Rithy Kim’s Toyota Rav 4...[f]rom that sudden impact, 22-year-old Jaleia Foxx driving a Honda Civic crashed from behind into [Rithy] Kim’s Rav 4." According to AJC.com, all three drivers and five passengers were injured and transported to a nearby hospital. Ms. Kim's young children "Vincent Kim, 8, and Kristin Kim, 14" were victims of the crash according to AJC.com.
According to the media outlets, the crash is under investigation and police have charged a driver with two counts of homicide by vehicle and one count each of reckless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road.
